History
Interlude (CT0) opens The Chaotic Throne. NA launch 11 April 2007. Story framing treats the Chaotic Era as the new normal: clans as Aden’s protectors, political reunification tension around Giran, and a teaser that a sixth race waits beyond the familiar five.
Why it mattered
Bridge patch between Chaotic Chronicles and the Kamael era — the classic Live build many private-server and nostalgia communities still mean by “Interlude.”
Lore beats
- Chaotic Era continues: free-willed races live without reliable divine guardianship
- Clans — not only kingdoms or cabals — are cast as the land’s day-to-day protectors
- Giran reunification / political tension keeps the economic heartland in the spotlight
- Soft teaser for a sixth race that CT1 (The Kamael) later delivers from the Isle of Souls
Story chapters
Paraphrased outline from official chronicle story materials — not verbatim novel text.
Chapter 1
Chaotic Era
Interlude keeps chaos as the world’s weather — polished systems, same restless politics.
Chapter 2
Protection Against Darkness
Defensive framing: seals and oaths were not enough; the continent prepares for threats still underground.
Chapter 3
Giran Reunification
Giran’s story comes full circle from C1’s war — reunification as political hope before Throne expands the map.
Chapter 4
Sixth Race Tease
Soft foreshadowing that five races will not remain the whole of Aden — the Kamael arrival is coming.
Key changes
- Codename CT0
- NA 11 April 2007
- Chaotic Era framing
