Still playing?
L2Echoes is about remembering — not crowning today’s #1 private server. Official NA retail on PlayNC is Live, Classic, Aden, Wolf, and Samurai (plus fresh-start Live worlds when NCSoft opens them). If you’re hunting private realms, use the established voting sites — we don’t score servers here.
How the retail lines map to memory
Live is the long continuum — Chaotic Chronicles through Goddess of Destruction, Epic Tale of Aden, Deathknight-era patches, and whatever fresh-start Live realms NCSoft spins up. If your screenshots are Awakening red skies or Ertheia creation day, they belong on the Live chronicle hubs, not on a toplist click.
Classic (World Start October 2018) is the official nostalgia track many Western veterans chose when modern Live no longer felt like home. Aden, Wolf, and Samurai are later project-style official lines — different rulesets and social graphs, still retail, still not private servers. L2Echoes links them so “where do I play tonight?” has an honest answer without turning this site into a ranking farm.
