History
Glory Days (GD2.5) landed on NA on 24 October 2012 — a mid–Goddess of Destruction chapter after Awakening, Harmony, and Tauti had already remade progression and the free-to-play economy. Veterans who stayed through the red-sky years remember Glory Days less as a single raid name and more as the stretch when Live felt permanently “new Aden”: Awakened classes, cash-shop gravity, and clan life rebuilt around a client that no longer resembled Interlude or High Five.
Why it mattered
Marks the settled F2P mid-game for Western Live — past the shock of Awakening, before Lindvior and Valiance closed the GoD table. Useful for tagging media from the 2012 autumn Live scene: parties learning the post-Awakening meta, screenshots of remade towns, and the first years when “come back to L2” meant a different game than the one friends quit in 2008.
Lore beats
- F2P Live finds a rhythm after Awakening’s upheaval
- Clan calendars shift to Awakened content instead of classic Seven Signs / H5 habits
- Memory marker for players who adapted rather than leaving for private Interlude
Key changes
- Codename GD2.5
- NA 24 October 2012
- Mid-GoD Live chapter
