History
Winter of War launched on NA on 15 January 2020 — Live’s first major seasonal title of a year that would also bring Dawn of Heroes and Tales Untold. The name fit the mood: cold-war fantasy on a Live server population already thinned by Classic, while the real world entered a year of lockdowns that pushed many veterans back toward games and voice chat. For L2Echoes, Winter of War is both a patch tag and a memory of who was still online that January.
