History
Underground: Hymn of the Soul (EP2.5) launched on NA on 14 October 2015 — the autumn follow-up inside the Infinite Odyssey line. Players treat it as the “delve” chapter: subterranean branding, hymn-and-soul fantasy in patch notes, and another reason to keep Live characters geared while friends debated private servers or waiting for something more classic-shaped.
Why it mattered
Gives late-2015 Live a home on the timeline. Tag dungeon clears, fashion from the Hymn season, and the autumn clan photos that would otherwise be misfiled under generic Odyssey.
Lore beats
- Underground spaces return as Live’s seasonal fantasy after surface Odyssey content
- Hymn of the Soul branding marks autumn 2015 voice-chat culture
- Keeps Odyssey from reading as a single April patch
Key changes
- Codename EP2.5
- NA 14 October 2015
- Hymn of the Soul
- Odyssey mid-chapter
