History
ReLIVE the Beginning — NCSoft’s new North American Live realm opened 15 September 2026. Same Live content additions and PvP rules as the main line, but a clean economy and faster early progression: higher virtual-equipment cap, XP buffs for low and mid levels, and vitality disabled on regular monster and boss kills through February 2027 (per PlayNC launch materials). Realms such as Kain (UTC−5) showed “Heavy” population and login queues in the hundreds within the first week — the kind of public login line Western retail L2 has not seen in roughly twenty years.
Why it mattered
First brand-new NA Live world server in more than a decade — a deliberate fresh start for veterans and newcomers without abandoning the modern Live client.
